1-Logos aka Logical Appeals
2-Pathos aka Emotions
3-Ethos aka Ethics
4-Kairos aka Sense of Urgency

ReplyDeleteYou need to find an advertisment with Persuasion in it and write a 1 page paper about it. Think about these things:
ReplyDeleteWhere did you find your persuaive examples?
Who is trying to persuade you/the speaker? Who comprimises their target audience?
What is their purpose?
How does this piece appeal to your Ethos, Kairos, Logos, and Pathos?
Do you think their argument is convincing?
What charged words do they use and what emotions do they evoke?
What rhetorical devices does this piece use if any?
(We didn't go over charged words or rhetorical devices)
It can be any advertisment.
